Notification concerning handling of personal information regarding using AUIG4

Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, National Research and Development Agency (JAXA), hereby notifies you that JAXA complies with applicable personal information protection regulations concerning personal information acquired in connection with using AUIG4 and handles personal information as set forth below.

  1. Purpose of use of personal information
    JAXA will use the following personal information for using AUIG4, which will be used only within JAXA.

    The following personal information is acquired.

    2. b. Email Address
    3. c. Affiliated Organization
    4. d. Contact Adress
    5. e. Phone Number
  3. Source of acquisition of personal information / Effects of not providing of personal information / Provision and transfer of personal information
    JAXA acquires personal information directly from the individual or indirectly from the organization to which the individual belongs.
    Provision of the information stated in paragraph 2 above is required for using AUIG4, and if the information is not provided, JAXA will not be able to grant permission to use AUIG4.
    Except as permitted by law, JAXA will not provide acquired personal information to any third parties or transfer it outside of Japan.
  4. Management of personal information
    JAXA will manage acquired personal information in an appropriate manner, store it only for the minimum period set according to the purpose of use and legal requirements, and take necessary measures to prevent any divulgence, loss or damage or the like with respect to personal information.
  5. Legal rights concerning personal information
    If the applicable legal requirements concerning your personal information are satisfied, you may exercise your rights with respect to disclosure, correction, discontinuance of use, erasure or discontinuance of provision of personal information to third parties.
